Bacon Rolled Mustard Chicken

Chicken supremes marinated in Dijon mustard and garlic are wrapped in bacon and seared until juicy and golden. A bold, smoky starter with a tangy kick. This is a Sanjeev Kapoor exclusive recipe.

Ingredients 

  • 8 strips of bacon
  • 8 chicken supremes, halved
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 3 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon red chilli flakes
  • Salt to taste

Method

  1. Trim the fat and rind of the bacon rashers and halve each rasher horizontally.
  2. Marinate chicken supreme with Dijon mustard, chopped garlic, chilli flakes and salt for fifteen minutes in the refrigerator.
  3. Roll a piece of bacon rasher around each chicken supreme piece and secure it with a toothpick.
  4. Heat a non-stick pan, sear the rolled chicken supreme, tossing from time to time, till the chicken is fully cooked. Serve hot.
