Ingredients list for Bacon Wrapped Bread Sticks

  • 16-20 Bacon rashers
  • 8 Bread Sticks
  • 1/2 teaspoon Crushed black peppercorns
  • 1/4 teaspoon Crushed red chillies
  • to taste Salt
  • 3 cloves Garlic roughly chopped
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese grated

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 200 °C. Put crushed black peppercorns, crushed red chillies, salt and roughly chopped garlic in a mortar and crush them coarsely with a pestle.
  2. Transfer into a bowl, add parmesan cheese and mix well.
  3. Line a baking tray with a silicon sheet.
  4. Tightly wrap bacon rashers around the bread sticks.
  5. Arrange the bread sticks on the baking tray and cook in preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or till bacon is well browned.
  6. Remove them from oven and immediately roll in the spiced cheese mixture.
  7. Serve hot.
