Ingredients list for Badishep Fennel Bhaat
- 2 cups Rice soaked
- 2 tablespoons Oil
- 3 Bay leaves
- 2 inch stick Cinnamon
- 4 medium Onions sliced
- 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder
Method
- Heat oil in a pressure cooker. Add bay leaves and cinnamon and saute for two minutes.
- Add sliced onions and saute till translucent. Add turmeric powder and rice and mix well and saute for two minutes.
- Add one cup of water to coconut milk powder and mix well.Add this paste to the rice along with coconut, fennel powder and salt.
- Add enough water to the rice and pressure cook for 2 whistles. Serve hot with curries.
