Ingredients for Banana Fries with Cheese-SK Khazana Recipe

  • Medium raw bananas 4-5

  • Mozzarella cheese grated as required

  • Oil for deep-frying

  • Red chilli powder 1/2 teaspoon

  • Black pepper powder to taste

  • Salt to taste

  • 3 coloured capsicums finely chopped 3-4 tablespoons

  • Fresh coriander leaves chopped 4 teaspoons


Step 1

Preheat oven to 180˚ C.

Step 2

Heat sufficient oil in a kadai.

Step 3

Trim the ends of the bananas, peel and cut them into 1½ inch thick strips.

Step 4

Slide in the strips into hot oil and deep-fry till golden brown and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper.

Step 5

Put the fries in a bowl. Sprinkle chilli powder, pepper powder and salt and toss well.

Step 6

Spread these fries on oven proof serving plate. Spread mixed capsicums, coriander leaves and some cheese equally over them.

Step 7

Put the plate into the preheated oven and bake for 5 minutes.

Step 8

Serve hot.
