Be a kid or a teenage or an adult or an oldie, chicken lovers trend all over the world at all times! One meat that is a favourite of all beyond belief! When cooked, it can be presented in many guises. Sauté it, fry it, toss it, bake it, steam it – eat it the way you want to. Whatever its form may be upon being cooked, its flavour may change but its flesh remains high in protein, low in fat and can be digested easily.

Ingredients for Barbeque Chicken Wings - SK Khazana Recipe

  • Chicken wings 8-12

  • Salt to taste

  • Black peppercorns crushed to taste

  • Refined flour 1 tablespoon

  • Cornflour 1 1/2 tablespoons

  • Oil 1 tablespo to deep fry

  • Garlic chopped 1 tablespoon

  • Barbeque sauce 1 cup

  • Red chilli sauce 1 1/2 tablespoons

  • Tomato ketchup 1 tablespoon

  • Sugar a pinch

  • Red chilli flakes 1 teaspoon

  • Fresh coriander leaves chopped for garnish


Step 1

Put chicken wings in a bowl. Add salt, crushed peppercorns, refined flour and cornflour, mix well and set aside to marinate for about 30 minutes.

Step 2

Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Deep-fry chicken wings till golden brown. Drain on absorbent paper.

Step 3

Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a non-stick wok. Add garlic and sauté well.

Step 4

Add barbeque sauce, chilli sauce, tomato ketchup, sugar and crushed peppercorns, mix well and simmer for a minute.

Step 5

Add chilli flakes and mix. Add fried chicken wings and mix.

Step 6

Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
