Ingredients list for Barta Meen
- 2 medium King Fish cut into 1 inch thick slices
- 1 1/2 teaspoons Malt Vinegar
- 1 teaspoon Turmeric powder
- 2 teaspoons Red chilli powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Black pepper powder
- 1 teaspoon Ginger paste
- 1 teaspoon Garlic paste
- to taste Salt
- to shallow fry Oil
Method
- Marinate fish slices with malt vinegar, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, black pepper powder, ginger paste, garlic paste and salt for twenty to twenty five minutes.
- Heat sufficient oil in a non stick pan and shallow fry the fish slices till golden and crisp on the outside.
- Drain on absorbent paper.
- Serve hot.
