Ingredients for Besan ka Halwa-SK Khazana Recipe

  • Gram flour (besan) 3/4 cup

  • Ghee 1/2 cup

  • Milk 3 cups

  • Sugar 3/4 cup

  • Almond slivers 1 tablespoon

  • Walnuts chopped 1 tablespoon

  • Cashewnuts halved 7-8

  • Pistachio slices 1 tablespoon

  • Raisins 1 tablespoon

  • Pistachio powder to sprinkle

Method

Step 1

Heat ghee in a non-stick pan. Add gram flour and sauté, stirring continuously, till it turns golden brown and fragrant.

Step 2

Add 1½ cups milk and keep stirring on low heat till lump-free. Add sugar, mix and cook, stirring continuously, for 10 minutes.

Step 3

Add remaining milk, almonds, walnuts, cashewnuts, pistachios and raisins, mix well and cook for 5 minutes.

Step 4

Sprinkle pistachio powder and serve hot.
