Ingredients for Bhadang -SK Khazana Recipe

  • Puffed rice (kurmura / murmura) 4 cups

  • Oil 2 tablespoons

  • Garlic cloves sliced 1 tablespoon

  • Raw peanuts 1/2 cup

  • Curry leaves 1 sprigs

  • Red chilli powder 1 teaspoon

  • Dried mango powder (amchur) 1/2 teaspoon

  • Salt to taste


Step 1

Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add garlic and raw peanuts and sauté on low heat for 4-5 minutes. Add curry leaves and sauté till fragrant on low heat.

Step 2

Add red chilli powder, dried mango powder, salt and mix well and sauté for 1 minute on low heat.

Step 3

Add puffed rice, mix well and sauté for 6-8 minutes on low heat. Switch off the heat. Set aside to cool down.

Step 4

Transfer bhadang into an airtight container and serve as and when required.
