Ingredients for Bhapa Doi - SK Khazana Recipe

  • Thick yogurt 1 cup

  • Condensed milk 1 cup

  • Milk 1/4 cup

  • Almonds blanched, peeled and slivered 6-8

  • Pistachios blanched, peeled and slivered 8-10

Method

Step 1

Take yogurt in a large bowl, add condensed milk and milk and whisk till well combined. Add some almonds and pistachios and mix well.

Step 2

Heat sufficient water in a steamer.

Step 3

Transfer the prepared mixture into small individual earthen pots and sprinkle pistachios on top. Cover each pot with aluminium foil.

Step 4

Place the pots in the steamer, cover and steam for 20-25 minutes. Take them out of the steamer and cool down to room temperature. Further refrigerate till chilled.

Step 5

Serve chilled.
