Ingredients list for Bhapa Doi With Tofu

  • 100 grams Silken beancurd 1/2 inch cubes
  • Condensed milk
  • 1 tin Condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup Thick yogurt whisked
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon Green cardamom powder
  • a few strands Saffron (kesar) dissolved in 1 tbsp of milk
  • 15 Pistachios blanched and sliced

Method

  1. Blend together yogurt and beancurd till smooth. Add a little milk and blend again.
  2. Pour the mixture into a bowl. Add condensed milk and mix well. Add green cardamom powder and saffron milk and mix well.
  3. Pour the mixture into a silicon bowl and sprinkle pistachios over. Cover and steam in a steamer for twenty to twenty five minutes.
  4. Cool to room temperature and then chill in the refrigerator.
  5. Serve chilled.
