Ingredients for Butter Caramel Kheer with Cupcakes Recipe

  • Mava Cup Cakes 6

  • Sugar 1/2 cup

  • Almonds finely chopped 1 tbsp + for garnishing

  • Pistachios finely chopped 1 tbsp + for garnishing

  • Butter 1 tablespoon

  • Milk 1/2 litre

  • Soaked rice 5 tablespoons


Step 1

Heat sugar in a non-stick pan, add 2-3 tbsps water and cook till the sugar caramelizes.

Step 2

Add almonds, pistachios, butter, milk and rice and mix well. Simmer for 15-20 minutes, stirring a few times, till the rice is cooked and the kheer is thick.

Step 3

Place mava cup cakes on a serving plate, pour the hot kheer over them, garnish with pistachios and almonds and serve.
