Ingredients list for Carrot Chutney
- 6 medium Carrot peeled seeded and grated
- 8-10 cloves Peanuts
- 1/2 cup Peanuts powder
- 1 teaspoon Oil
- 1/2 teaspoon Mustard seeds
- a pinch Asafoetida
- 2-3 Curry leaves
- 1/2 teaspoon Red chilli powder
- to taste Salt
Method
- Grind carrots, garlic and peanuts to a coarse paste using sufficient water.
- Heat oil in a non stick pan. Add mustard seeds. Once they splutter, add asafetida, curry leaves and red chilli powder.
- Pour this over carrots, add salt and mix.
Serve.
