Ingredients list for Charnamrit

  • 3 cups Milk
  • 2 tablespoons Yogurt
  • 2 cups Cold water
  • 1 teaspoon Ghee
  • 5 tablespoons Powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Honey
  • 2 teaspoons Ganga jal
  • 8 Tulsi leaves
  • 8 Puffed lotus seeds (makhanas)
  • 1 teaspoon Coconut scraped

Method

  1. Take the yogurt in a pan, add two to three tablespoons of milk to it and beat well till well blended.
  2. Add the remaining milk and mix again. Add cold water, ghee, sugar, honey, ganga jal and mix well.
  3. Break the tulsi leaves with hand into small pieces and add to the yogurt mixture along with makhanas and coconut.
