Cheese Swiss Fondue

Fondue is a Swiss communal dish shared at the table in an earthenware pot over a small burner . A cheese mix in the pot is kept warm as a semi-liquid sauce into which diners use forks to dip bits of food, most often bread. This is a Sanjeev Kapoor exclusive recipe.

  3. In a small bowl, blend cornstarch smoothly with three tablespoons of wine, then stir into cheese mixture and continue to cook, stirring constantly, for two to three minutes until mixture is thick and smooth.

  5. Switch it on. To serve, fork up a piece of French bread on a fondue fork and dip into the fondue.
