Ingredients for Cheesy Mashed Potato Toasties Recipe

  • Bread slices 4

  • Potatoes mashed 1 cup

  • Cheese grated 2 tablespoons

  • Garlic chopped 1 teaspoon

  • Butter 1 tablespoon

  • Red chilli flakes 1 teaspoon


Step 1

Preheat oven at 180 degree Celsius.

Step 2

Apply butter on the bread slices. Sprinkle with red chilli flakes and garlic on each side.

Step 3

Bake for 5 minutes or till the bread is crisp.

Step 4

Remove from oven and cool slightly.

Step 5

Evenly spread a portion of mashed potatoes on each slice.

Step 6

Sprinkle with grated cheese and bake for 5 -7 minutes or till the cheese melts.

Step 7

Remove from the oven, trim the edges and cut the sandwich into fingers.

Step 8

Serve immediately with ketchup.
