Ingredients list for Chicken Walnut Pinwheels - SK Khazana

  • 100Oil grams Chicken mince
  • 10-12 Walnuts chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Oil
  • 1 tablespoon Garlic chopped
  • 1-2 glass Green chillies chopped
  • 1 Medium onion finely chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Dried mango powder (amchur)
  • to taste Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh coriander leaves chopped
  • as required Refined flour dough with carom seeds

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 180º C. Grease a baking tray.
  2. Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add garlic, green chillies and onion, mix and sauté till fragrant and translucent.
  3. Add chicken mince, walnuts, turmeric powder, red chilli powder and dried mango powder, mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Add salt and coriander leaves, mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Roll the dough to a not too thin rectangle, trim the edges neatly to make them even.
  6. Spread the chicken mixture evenly and dampen the edges. Roll into cylinder and cut out slices. Place the slices on the greased baking tray.
  7. Keep the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 40-45 minutes. Arrange them on a serving platter and serve.
