Ingredients list for Chocolate And Prune Cake
- 125 grams Prunes chopped
 - 125 grams Refined flour
 - 25 grams Cocoa powder
 - 100 grams Butter
 - 125 grams Castor sugar (caster sugar)
 - a few Vanilla essence
 - 2 tablespoons Orange juice
 - 3 Eggs
 - 112.5 grams Whole wheat flour (atta)
 - 1 teaspoon Baking powder
 - 1 cup Buttermilk
 
Method
- Preheat oven to 180°C.
 - Grease an aluminium cake tin with butter and dust with a little flour.
 - Whisk butter and sugar in a bowl till light and fluffy.Add vanilla essence and mix again.
 - Mix prunes and orange juice and add this to butter mixture and mix well.
 - Break eggs one by one and add and mix well.
 - Sift together refined flour, whole wheat flour, baking powder and cocoa powder into butter mixture and mix well. Add buttermilk and mix again.
 - Pour batter into the prepared aluminium cake tin and bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes. Remove and let the cake cool.
 - Slice and serve.
