  • 1 tablespoon Chocolate Chips
  • 3/4 cup Jaggery grated
  • 1 1/2 cups Wheat flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon Green cardamom powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Cinnamon powder
  • a pinch Baking soda
  • 2 tablespoons Cocoa powder
  • 1 cup Milk
  • for frying sealing and brushing Ghee
  • as required Vanilla ice cream
  • as required Chocolate sauce

Method

  1. Sieve together wheat flour, cardamom powder, cinnamon powder, baking soda and cocoa powder into a bowl.
  2. Heat milk and jaggery in a deep non stick pan, stirring till jaggery dissolves. Add it to the flour mixture and mix well till smooth.
  3. Heat ghee in another non stick pan. Pour a ladle full of batter into the pan, and swirl the pan to spread evenly.
  4. Sprinkle chocolate chips on top and cook till the underside is done. Turn it over and cook the other side is equally done.
  5. Place a scoop of ice-cream on each pancake, drizzle a little chocolate sauce over and serve.
