Ingredients for Coconut Cooler Recipe

  • Tender coconuts 2

  • Fresh basil leaves 8-10 + to garnish

  • Ice cubes as required

  • Chia seeds soaked 4 teaspoons

  • Salt 1 pinch

  • Lemon juice 2 teaspoons

  • Lemon slices to garnish


Step 1

Cut off the top of the tender coconuts and drain their water into a glass. Scoop out the flesh and chop it.

Step 2

Chop the basil leaves. Transfer the tender coconut flesh and basil leaves into 4 serving stemmed glasses.

Step 3

Add some ice cubes to the tender coconut water. Add chia seeds and mix well. Add salt and lemon juice and mix well.

Step 4

Pour this evenly into the serving glasses. Garnish each glass with a lemon slice and a basil leaf and serve immediately.
