Be a kid or a teenage or an adult or an oldie, chicken lovers trend all over the world at all times! One meat that is a favourite of all beyond belief! When cooked, it can be presented in many guises. Sauté it, fry it, toss it, bake it, steam it – eat it the way you want to. Whatever its form may be upon being cooked, its flavour may change but its flesh remains high in protein, low in fat and can be digested easily.

Ingredients for Creamy Chicken And Onion Soup Recipe

  • Boneless Chicken 2 tablespoons

  • Chicken Stock chopped 1

  • Boneless chicken 150 grams

  • Salt to taste

  • Tomatoes chopped 2

  • Red chilli powder 1/4 teaspoon

  • White pepper powder to taste

  • Chicken stock 1 litre

  • Soda bicarbonate a pinch

  • Cream 4 tablespoons

  • Fresh basil leaves 4-5

  • Croutons toasted 20-24


Step 1

Heat butter in a pot. Add chopped onion and sauté for a little while. Cut chicken into small pieces, add to the pot and continue to sauté.

Step 2

Add salt and mix. Add chopped tomatoes and continue to sauté. Add red chilli powder, white pepper powder and mix.

Step 3

Add ¾ cup water or chicken stock and a pinch of soda bi carbonate. Let it cook.

Step 4

Once it is cooked keep it aside to cool. Strain. Blend in a mixer to a smooth puree. Pour the puree into a pan.

Step 5

Add chicken stock (or water) to adjust the consistency you require and mix well. Bring it to a boil.

Step 6

Adjust seasoning and take off the heat. Add fresh cream and stir. Pour into individual bowls. Add croutons. Garnish with basil leaves and serve immediately.
