By Sanjeev Kapoor 06 Mar 2019 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Chicken legs, Refined flour (maida) Cuisine Fusion Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 1-1.30 hour Cook time 21-25 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Easy Others Non Veg Ingredients list for Crispy Chicken Legs 4-8 Chicken legs + for dusting Refined flour (maida) ½ cup Melted butter for greasing, brushing and basting to taste Salt 1 tablespoon Ginger-garlic paste ½ teaspoon Garam masala powder 1 teaspoon Paprika powder 1 teaspoon Dried oregano 1 Egg to taste Crushed black peppercorns 1 teaspoon Sugar ½ cup Bread crumbs Method Pat-dry the chicken legs using an absorbent paper and prick all over using a fork. Take chicken in a bowl. Add salt, ginger-garlic paste, garam masala powder, paprika powder and dried oregano and mix well. Keep it in the refrigerator to marinate for 1 hour. Preheat oven to 200ºC. Line a baking tray with aluminum foil. Grease with some butter and dust some refined flour. Break egg in another bowl, add salt and crushed peppercorns and whisk well. Spread ½ cup flour on a plate. Add sugar and salt and mix well. Spread breadcrumbs on another plate. Coat each marinated chicken leg with flour mixture, dip in egg mixture and coat with breadcrumbs. Place them on the greased baking tray and brush some butter on top. Place the baking tray in the preheated oven and bake for 10 minutes. Remove from oven, baste with some butter and bake again for 10 minutes. Serve hot.
