Ingredients for Crumbed Chicken Fingers Recipe

  • Boneless chicken breast 6

  • Egg beaten 1 Big

  • Buttermilk 1 cup

  • Garlic chopped 1 1/2 teaspoons

  • Salt to taste

  • All purpose flour 1 cup

  • Seasoned breadcrumbs 1 cup

  • Baking powder 1 teaspoon

  • Oil to deep fry

Method

Step 1

Cut chicken breasts in long strips. In a small bowl combine the egg, buttermilk, finely chopped garlic and salt.

Step 2

Mix together, marinate the chicken in this mixture for atleast two hours.

Step 3

In another bowl mix together the flour, seasoned bread crumbs and baking powder.

Step 4

Remove chicken from the marinade and drain. Discard the buttermilk mixture.

Step 5

Place chicken in flour mixture bowl. Shake well to coat evenly. In a large skillet, heat oil.

Step 6

Add chicken and fry in hot oil until golden brown and juices run clear. Drain on paper towels and serve with tomato ketchup or chutney.
