By Sanjeev Kapoor 24 Feb 2017 in Recipes Course New Update Advertisment Main Ingredients Boneless chicken, Scraped coconut Cuisine Fusion Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Easy Others Non Veg Ingredients list for Crunchy Coconut Chicken 250 grams Boneless chicken cut into 1½ inch strips ½ cup Scraped coconut for deep-frying Oil ¾ cup Bread crumbs dried 1 teaspoon Red chilli flakes 1 inch Ginger finely chopped 4-6 Curry leaves finely chopped 2-3 tablespoons Fresh coriander leaves to taste Crushed black peppercorns to taste Salt 1 tablespoon Cornflour/ corn starch 1 Egg Method Heat sufficient oil in a pan. Put breadcrumbs, chili flakes, ginger, curry leaves, coriander leaves, coconut, salt and crushed peppercorns in a bowl and mix well. Add cornflour and mix well. Spread this mixture on a plate. Take chicken in a bowl. Add crushed peppercorns, salt and egg and mix well. Coat the chicken strips with breadcrumb mixture and place them on a plate. Deep-fry in hot oil till golden and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper.
