Ingredients list for Dal Sabudana(sago khichdi)

  • 2 cups Sago soaked
  • 1/4 cup Bengal Gram soaked
  • 1 tablespoon Ghee
  • 1 tablespoon Cumin seeds
  • 5-6 Green chillies chopped
  • 10-12 Curry leaves
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • to taste Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh coriander leaves chopped

Method

  1. Heat ghee in a non-stick pan. Add cumin seeds, green chillies and curry leaves.
  2. Add chana dal and saute for two to three minutes. Add sago and mix well. Cover and cook for two to three minutes stirring occasionally.
  3. Add sugar, salt and lemon juice and stir well.Serve hot garnished with chopped coriander leaves
