This recipe is from FoodFood TV channel By Sanjeev Kapoor 15 Nov 2016 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Fresh Coriander Stems, Tomato Cuisine Indian Course Soups Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 16-20 minutes Serve Taste Mild Level of Cooking Moderate Others Veg Ingredients list for Dhaniya Aur Tamatar Ka Shorba 1 stalks Fresh Coriander Stems 1 tablespoon Tomato chopped 6-7 medium Tomatoes 2 tablespoons Oil 1 Black cardamom 2 Green cardamoms 1/2 teaspoon Cumin seeds 1/2 teaspoon Fennel seeds (saunf) 1/2 inch stick Cinnamon 3-4 Black peppercorns 1-2 Dried red chillies 1 tablespoon Gram flour (besan) to taste Salt 1/2 teaspoon Red chilli powder Method Chop tomatoes into big pieces. Chop coriander stem. Heat oil in a pressure cooker, add black cardamom, green cardamoms, cumin seeds, fennel seeds, cinnamon, black peppercorns and red chillies and sauté till fragrant. Add coriander stem, besan and mix well. Add tomatoes and mix well. Add salt and red chilli powder and mix well.Add 2 cups water and mix. Cover the cooker and cook till 3-4 whistles are given out. Open the lid when the pressure reduces completely and blend the mixture with a hand blender. Strain the mixture into a bowl. Sprinkle fresh coriander leaves and serve.
