By Sanjeev Kapoor 24 Apr 2018 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Eggs , Burger Bun Cuisine Fusion Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 6-10 minutes Cook time 26-30 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Moderate Others Non Veg Ingredients list for Egg Burger 4 Eggs 4 Burger Bun 1/4 cup Three coloured capsicums chopped to taste Salt to taste Crushed black peppercorns 4 teaspoons Milk Oil 1/2 teaspoon + a few drops 4 tablespoons Mayonnaise 2 tablespoons Tomato ketchup 5 Pickled jalapeno slices roughly chopped 1/2 teaspoon Tabasco sauce 1 medium Tomato cut into round slices 1 medium Onion cut into roundels as required Iceberg lettuce leaves Method Preheat oven to 180° C. Break eggs into a bowl, add capsicums, salt, crushed peppercorns and milk and whisk well. Cover the base of two cookie cutters with aluminium foil and place them on a baking tray. Pour the mixture into both, place tray in the preheated oven and bake till egg gets cooked. Halve the burger buns horizontally. Heat a few drops oil in a non-stick pan. Place buns on it and toast till crisp. To make the spread, mix mayonnaise and tomato ketchup in a bowl. Add jalapeno and Tabasco sauce and mix well. Heat half teaspoon oil in another non-stick pan. Add tomato slices and onion roundels and sauté lightly for a minute on each side. Place them on a plate. Apply some spread on the bottom halves of the toasted buns. Place some torn lettuce leaves on top and drizzle some more spread on top. Place a sautéed tomato slice and onion roundel on each and sprinkle little salt. Halve the baked egg horizontally and place each half on the assembled buns. Cover with the top toasted halves of the buns. Serve immediately.
