By Sanjeev Kapoor 15 Jun 2014 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Potatoes, Batata chiwda Cuisine Maharashtrian Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 26-30 minutes Cook time 16-20 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Farali Missal 4-5 large Potatoes boiled 2 tablespoons Batata chiwda 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds 3 Green chillies slit 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder 1/4 cup Roasted peanuts 2 tablespoons Roasted peanuts crushed to taste Sea salt 1/2 cup Batata chiwda Method Heat a pan, add ghee and let it melt. Add cumin seeds, green chillies, turmeric powder, red chilli powder and sauté for ten seconds. Crumble the boiled potatoes and add. Add one and a half cups of water and let it come to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for two to three minutes Add whole peanuts, crushed peanuts, sea salt and simmer for five minutes. Place the batata chewda in serving bowls.
