Ingredients for Fennel Marinated Paneer And Olive Skewers Recipe

  • Fennel seeds 1 tablespoon

  • Paneer 2 tablespoon

  • Paneer (cottage cheese) 200 grams

  • Lemon zest 1 teaspoon

  • Lemon juice 1 tablespoon

  • Olive oil 2 tablespoons

  • Black pepper powder 2 teaspoons

  • Fresh mint leaves chopped 20

  • Cucumber peeled and seeded 1

  • Black olives pitted and halved 10


Step 1

Cut the paneer into three-fourth inch cubes. Toast sesame seeds in a dry pan. Mix fennel seeds, toasted sesame seeds, lemon zest, lemon juice, oil and black pepper powder in a bowl. Add the paneer cubes and toss well.

Step 2

Cover and marinate for three to four hours in the refrigerator. Sprinkle the paneer with five to six chopped mint leaves. Cut the cucumbers into half inch cubes

Step 3

Thread one from remaining mint leaves, one olive piece, one cucumber cube and one paneer cube on to each skewer. Chill and serve.
