By Sanjeev Kapoor 16 Nov 2016 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Chocolate, Refined flour (maida) Cuisine Fusion Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 5-6 hour Cook time 6-10 minutes Serve 4 Taste Sweet Level of Cooking Moderate Others Veg Ingredients list for Fried Chocolate Mango 2 cups Chocolate chopped and melted for dusting Refined flour (maida) 3 Ripe mangoes peeled, cut into wedges and frozen for 2-3 hours for deep-frying Oil ¼ cup Cornflour/ corn starch ¼ cup Rice flour + for dusting Refined flour (maida) 1 cup ¼ teaspoon Baking powder to taste Salt Method Dip the frozen mangoes in the melted chocolate and place on a silicon sheet. Freeze for two to three hours. To make the tempura batter, combine the cornstarch, rice flour, refined flour, baking powder and salt and mix lightly. Add one cup ice cold water and whisk lightly to form a thick batter. Heat sufficient oil in a pan. Dust the frozen mangoes with flour, dip in the batter and deep-fry in hot oil till crisp. Drain on absorbent paper. Serve immediately.
