Ingredients list for Gajar Dalia
- 1/2 cup Broken Wheat
- 1 cup Carrot peeled and grated
- 1 tablespoon Ghee
- for garnishing Raisins 2 tablespoons +
- 3 cups Milk
- 2 tablespoons Roasted semolina (rawa/sooji)
- 1/2 cup Castor sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon Green cardamom powder
Method
- Heat ghee in a deep non-stick pan, add broken wheat and sauté till lightly browned.
- Add raisins and mix well. Add carrots and sauté further for a minute.
- Add milk and cook till the broken wheat is done. Add roasted semolina and mix well.
- Add castor sugar and mix well. Cook till the mixture thickens. Add cardamom powder and mix well.
- Transfer onto a serving plate, garnish with raisins and serve hot.
