By Sanjeev Kapoor 30 Jul 2018 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Garlic, Garlic powder Cuisine Fusion Course Breads Prep Time 1-1.30 hour Cook time 16-20 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Moderate Others Veg Ingredients list for Garlic Knots - SK Khazana 1 1/2 tablespoons Garlic chopped 1 teaspoon Garlic powder 2 cups + 2 teaspoons Refined flour (maida) 2 teaspoons Milk powder 2 teaspoons Fresh yeast 2 teaspoons Castor sugar 1/2 teaspoon Salt 2 tablespo Butter 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese grated 1 teaspoon Fresh parsley chopped to grease Oil for brushi Milk Method Mix together flour and milk powder in a large mixing bowl. Add yeast, castor sugar and some water and let the yeast activate. Add salt and sufficient water and knead into a soft dough. Add 2 tablespoons butter and knead again. Set aside to prove for 30-40 minutes. Knock back the dough, divide into 8 equal portions and shape into balls. Mix together parmesan cheese, garlic, garlic powder, parsley and 2 teaspoons butter in a bowl. Roll out dough balls into medium sized thick discs, place a spoonful of cheese mixture in the centre, roll into cylinders and shape into knots. Preheat oven to 180° C. Grease a baking tray with some oil and place the prepared garlic knots on it. Set aside to prove for 10-15 minutes. Brush the knots with some milk, put the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes.
