Ingredients list for Green Pea Chutney

  • 1 cup Green Peas boiled
  • 1 cup Mint Leaves roughly chopped
  • 1/2 cup Mint leaves roughly chopped
  • 2-3 cloves Garlic
  • 1/2 inch piece Ginger roughly chopped
  • 1 Green chilli chopped
  • to taste Black salt (kala namak)
  • 1/4 teaspoon Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice

Method

  1. Drain the green peas and grind with coriander leaves, mint leaves, garlic, ginger and green chillies to a smooth paste with a little water if required.
  2. Add the black salt and sugar and blend once again.
  3. Transfer the chutney into a bowl and mix in the lemon juice. Serve.
