Green Peas and Capsicum Stir Fry The flavours of capsicums and green peas mingle well in this stir-fry. This recipe is from FoodFood TV channel By Sanjeev Kapoor 14 Apr 2015 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Fresh Green Peas, Green Capsicums Cuisine Indian Course Main Course Vegetarian Prep Time 6-10 minutes Cook time 16-20 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Moderate Others Veg Ingredients list for Green Peas and Capsicum Stir Fry 1 1/2 cups Fresh Green Peas 2 large Green Capsicums 2 tablespoons Mustard oil 1/4 teaspoon Asafoetida 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds 1 tablespoon Ginger finely chopped 2 Green chillies finely chopped a pinch Turmeric powder 1 tablespoon Coriander powder 1/2 teaspoon Red chilli powder 1/2 teaspoon Garam masala powder 1 teaspoon Dried mango powder (amchur) to taste Salt 2 tablespoons Fresh coriander leaves finely chopped For garnishing A fresh red chilli Thin strips of red capsicum Thin strips of ginger Method Finely chop green capsicum and set aside. Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add asafoetida, cumin seeds, ginger and green chillies and sauté for half a minute. Add green peas, turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chilli powder, garam masala powder, dried mango powder and salt and mix well. Add green capsicum, mix and sauté for 3-4 minutes. Add 1 cup water and cook for 5-6 minutes till the gravy thickens. Add coriander leaves and mix well. Transfer into a serving bowl, garnish with a fresh red chilli and thin strips of red capsicum and ginger and serve hot.
