By Sanjeev Kapoor 04 Jul 2019 in Recipes Course New Update Advertisment Main Ingredients Crabs, Butter Cuisine Indian Course Soups Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 26-30 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Easy Others Non Veg Ingredients list for Indian Style Crab Soup - SK Khazana 2 Crabs cleaned 1 tablespoon Butter 4-5 Black peppercorns Bay leaves 1/2 inch Stick Cinnamon 1 Medium onion finely chopped 1 Medium tomato finely chopped to taste Salt 1 tablespoon Garlic chopped 1 teaspoon Ginger chopped 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder Method Heat butter in a non-stick pan add peppercorns, bay leaves, cinnamon and onion and mix. Saute till lightly browned. Add tomato and salt and cook for 3-4 minutes Add crabs and sauté for 2-3 minutes. Add garlic, ginger, turmeric powder and mix well. Add 5 cups of water and cook on low heat for 10-12 minutes. Remove the crab pieces and strain the soup into a bowl. Place the crab pieces in a serving bowl and pour the strained soup over it.
