Ingredients list for Jeera Pepper Chicken
- 1 tablespoon Cumin Seeds
- 15-20 Black Peppercorns
- 2 Chicken breast
- 2 tablespoon Oil
- 1 teaspoon Garlic paste
- 1 Lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon Black salt (kala namak)
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 tablespoon Browned garlic crushed
- 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder
- for garnish Spring onion greens
- for garnish Red chilli
Method
- Heat 1 tsp oil in a small non-stick pan, add black peppercorns and cumin seeds to it and sauté.
- Cut chicken breasts into large pieces and marinate them with garlic paste, lemon juice, black salt and salt.
- Coarsely crush cumin seeds and black peppercorns.
- Add browned garlic and red chilli powder and put the mixture in a plate.
- Heat the remaining oil in another non-stick pan. Coat chicken pieces with the spice mixture and shallow fry for 6-8 minutes.
- Drain on absorbent paper. Garnish with spring onion greens and red chilli and serve hot.
