Ingredients list for Junglee Mutton - SK Khazana

  • 750 grams Mutton cut into 1½ inch pieces on the bone
  • 4 tablespoons Ghee
  • 15-20 Dried Mathania red chillies
  • 15-20 Garlic cloves
  • to taste Salt
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons Coriander powder
  • for garnish coriander sprig
  • for garnish Lemon wedges

Method

  1. Heat ghee in a deep pan, add dried red chillies and garlic cloves and sauté for 2-3 minutes.
  2. Add mutton and sauté on high heat for 3-4 minutes. Add salt, coriander powder and mix well.
  3. Add 5-6 cups water, mix well and let it come to a boil. Cover and cook on medium heat for 35-40 minutes or till the mutton is completely cooked.
  4. Transfer into a serving bowl, garnish with coriander sprigs and lemon wedges and serve hot.
