By Sanjeev Kapoor 14 Apr 2020 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Cashewnuts, Oil Cuisine Indian,Maharashtrian Course Main Course Vegetarian Prep Time 2.30-3 hour Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Kaju Ussal - SK Khazana 1 1/2 cups Cashewnuts soaked for 2-3 hours 2 tablespoons Oil 1 teaspoon Mustard seeds 1/4 teaspoon Asafoetida 2 Green chillies slit 1/4 cup Green peas blanched 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder to taste Salt 1 teaspoon Sugar 2 tablespoons Goda masala 1/4 cup coriander leaves chopped 1/2 cup Scraped coconut for garnish coriander sprig Method Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add mustard seeds and let them splutter. Add asafoetida and green chillies and sauté for 1 minute. Add green peas, cashewnuts, turmeric powder, salt, sugar, goda masala, coriander leaves and scraped coconut, mix and sauté for 2-3 minutes. Cover and cook for 5 minutes.
