Ingredients list for Kala chana salad

  • 1 cup Black Bengal gram (kala chana) boiled
  • 1 cup Green gram (sabut moong) boiled
  • 1 medium Cucumber finely chopped
  • 1 medium Radish finely chopped
  • 2 small Tomato finely chopped
  • 1 medium Onion chopped
  • 1 small Cabbage finely chopped
  • 3-4 Spinach leaves (palak) finely chopped
  • 1 Apple finely chopped
  • 1 Banana finely chopped
  • 1 Guava finely chopped
  • 5-6 Grapes cut into small pieces
  • 50 grams Paneer (cottage cheese) cut into small cubes
  • 1/2 cup Green peas boiled
  • to taste Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Amchur powder
  • 1 tablespoon Honey
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon juice

Method

  1. In a large bowl mix together kala chana, green gram, cucumber, radish, tomatoes, onion, cabbage, spinach, apple, banana, guava, grapes, paneer and green peas.
  2. Add salt, amchur powder, honey and lemon juice and mix well. Serve cold.
