Ingredients list for Kankairi

  • 1 medium Raw mango grated
  • 2 tablespoons Oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon Fenugreek seeds (methi dana)
  • 1/2 teaspoon Mustard seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Red chilli powder
  • 1 medium Onion grated
  • 1 tablespoon Jaggery (gur) grated
  • to taste Salt

Method

  1. Heat oil in a nonstick pan, add fenugreek seeds and mustard seeds, allow it to splutter.
  2. Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, grated mango and onion. Mix well. Saute for two minutes.
  3. Add jaggery and salt .Mix well and sprinkle little water.
  4. Cook for two minutes and serve.
