Ingredients list for Kathi Paniyaram

  • 1 1/2 cups Rice flour
  • 2 teaspoons Sesame seeds
  • 1 tablespoon Poppy seeds
  • as required Jaggery syrup
  • 3/4 cup Scrapped coconut
  • Oil for frying

Method

  1. In a mixing bowl, add rice flour, sesame seeds, poppy seeds, jaggery syrup, scraped coconut and prepare semi soft dough.
  2. Roll the dough and cut into small diamond pieces-1/2 inch thick.
  3. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Deep fry the pieces in oil on medium flame till golden brown.
  4. Remove on an absorbent paper. Serve.
