Ingredients list for Keema Roll
- 250 grams Mutton mince (keema)
- 4 whole wheat flour rotis
- 2 tablespoons Oil
- 2 medium Onions finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon Ginger-garlic paste
- 1/4 cup Yogurt
- to taste Salt
- 1 1/2 teaspoons Red chilli powder
- 1 medium Onion
- 1/2 cup Brown breadcrumbs
- 4 tablespoons Coriander and mint chutney
- 4 tablespoons Sweet red chilli sauce
- for garnishing Alfalfa sprouts
- Onion rings for serving
- Lollo rosso lettuce leaves for serving
Method
- Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add onions and sauté till lightly browned. Add minced mutton and mix well. Add ginger-garlic paste, yogurt, salt and red chilli powder and mix well. Cover and cook on low heat till mutton is fully cooked.
- Slice onion.
- Add breadcrumbs to the mutton and mix well. Switch off the heat.
- Place each roti on a worktop, spread 1 tbsp coriander and mint chutney and 1 tbsp red chilli sauce on each roti, place some sliced onion in the center and minced mutton mixture over it. Roll the roti. Place 1 roll in aluminum foil and seal the edges to make a wrap.
- Cut the remaining keema rolls into big pieces and arrange them on one side of a serving plate. Garnish with alfalfa sprouts, place onion rings and lollo rosso lettuce leaves in the center and serve immediately.
