Ingredients for Kurkuri Bread Fingers Recipe

  • Bread Slices cut into fingers 10-12

  • Gram Flour 1 cup

  • Rice flour 2-3 teaspoons

  • Salt to taste

  • Red chilli powder 1 1/2 teaspoons

  • Cumin seeds 1 teaspoon

  • Oil for deep-frying

  • Mayonnaise to serve


Step 1

Mix gram flour, rice flour, salt, red chilli powder, cumin seeds and sufficient water in a bowl to make thick and smooth batter.

Step 2

Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Dip bread fingers in batter and fry till crisp and golden brown. Drain on absorbent paper.

Step 3

Serve hot with mayonnaise.
