Ingredients list for Lachko

  • 1 cup Split Pigeon Pea soaked
  • 1/2 teaspoon Ghee
  • to taste Salt
  • 4-5 tablespoons Pure ghee

Method

  1. Drain and put dal in a pressure cooker.
  2. Add salt, turmeric powder, 2 cups water and mix.
  3. Cove the cooker with the lid and cook under pressure till 3-4 whistles are given out.
  4. Let the dal remain in the cooker till pressure reduces.
  5. Open the lid, add ghee and serve hot.
