By Sanjeev Kapoor 23 Feb 2017 in Recipes Course New Update Advertisment Main Ingredients Fish fillet, Coriander seeds Cuisine Fusion Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 16-20 minutes Cook time 6-10 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Easy Others Non Veg Ingredients list for Lahori Fish Fry 250 grams Fish fillet boneless, cut into 2 inch pieces 1 tablespoon Coriander seeds 1 teaspoon Caraway seeds (shahi jeera) 1 teaspoon Carom seeds (ajwain) 1 tablespoon Dried pomegranate seeds (anardana) 1 tablespoon Ginger-garlic paste to taste Salt a pinch Black salt (kala namak) 1 Egg ½ Lemon 2-3 tablespoons Gram flour (besan) to sprinkle Chaat masala Method Grind together coriander seeds, caraway seeds, carom seeds and pomegranate seeds to make a fine powder. Take fish in a bowl. Add ground powder, ginger-garlic paste, salt, black salt, egg, lemon juice and mix. Add gram flour and mix well. Set aside for 10-15 minutes. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Deep-fry the marinated fish pieces in hot oil till golden and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper.
