Ingredients for Lemon Butter Shrimps-SK Khazana Recipe

  • Shrimps shelled and deveined 200 grams

  • Lemon juice 1 1/2 tablespoons

  • Butter 3 tablespoons

  • Oil 2 tablespoons

  • Salt to taste

  • Black peppercorns crushed to taste

  • Garlic finely chopped 1 tablespoon

  • Medium white onion chopped 1

  • Fresh parsley finely chopped 1 teaspoon to sprinkle

  • Fresh cream 1 cup

  • Fresh parsely sprig for garnish

  • Steamed rice to serve

Method

Step 1

Heat 1 tablespoon butter and 1 tablespoon oil in a non-stick pan. Add shrimps and toss. Add salt and crushed peppercorns, mix and cook for 2-3 minutes. Transfer into a bowl and set aside.

Step 2

Heat remaining butter and remaining oil in the same pan. Add garlic and onion, mix and sauté till onion turns translucent.

Step 3

Add lemon juice and mix. Add parsley and cream, mix well and simmer for a minute.

Step 4

Add cooked shrimps and mix well. Add salt and crushed peppercorns, mix well and cook for a minute.

Step 5

Take steamed rice in a serving plate, make a well in the centre, put some of the shrimps in it, sprinkle some parsley, garnish with parsley sprig and serve hot.
