Ingredients 

  • 8 eggs
  • 100 grams lettuce
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon white pepper powder
  • 7-8 black peppercorns, crushed
  • 6 tablespoons vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon mustard powder
  • 2 tablespoons salad oil

Method

  1. Cook eggs in boiling water for twelve minutes. When cool, peel and place in cold water. Wash lettuce leaves in running water and keep in chilled water.
  2. Cut eggs into bite sized pieces. Tear lettuce leaves with hand and gently mix eggs with them.
  3. Prepare dressing by mixing salt, white pepper powder, crushed peppercorns, vinegar, mustard powder and salad oil.
  4. Mix this gently with the prepared lettuce and eggs. Serve cold.
