Ingredients for Mango Ketchup Recipe

  • Mangoes peeled and seeded 5 medium

  • Ginger chopped 1 tablespoon

  • Vinegar 3 tablespoons

  • Sea salt 1 teaspoon

  • Sugar 1/2 cup

  • White wine 1/2 cup

  • All spice powder 1/2 teaspoon

  • Cayenne pepper 1/2 teaspoon

  • Clove 1

  • Cinnamon powder 1 teaspoon

Method

Step 1

Blend the mango pulp with ginger, vinegar, kosher salt, sugar, white wine, all spice powder, cayenne pepper, clove and cinnamon to a smooth mixture.

Step 2

Heat a non-stick pan. Pour the mixture and cook on low heat for an hour or until it gets reduced or thickened.

Step 3

Remove from heat and allow to cool. Strain it and refrigerate for a day. The ketchup is ready to use.
