Ingredients list for Masale Cha Dudh
- 11/2 litres Milk
- 5-6 Cashewnuts
- 4-5 Almonds
- 4-5 Pistachios
- 1/2 cup Sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon Green cardamom powder
- 1 teaspoon Sunflower seeds (charoli/chironji)
- 2-3 strands Saffron (kesar)
Method
- Chop cashewnuts. Blanch almonds and pistachios in half a cup of boiling water for five minutes.
- Drain, cool, peel and cut into slivers. Boil milk in a heavy bottom pan over low heat stirring at regular intervals. When the milk is reduced to half the original quantity, stir in sugar.
- When sugar dissolves, add cardamom powder, cashewnuts, almonds, pistachios, sunflower seeds and saffron. Simmer for five minutes and remove from heat. Serve warm or cold.
