Add ginger, garlic, curry powder and salt, mix well and cook for two to three minutes. Add three cups of water and lentils, mix and cook for twenty to twenty-five minutes. Add lemon juice, mix well and switch off heat. Garnish with a coriander sprig and serve piping hot.
