Ingredients list for Matar Ka Chaat
- 2 cups Fresh Green Peas boiled
 - 1 medium Onion finely chopped
 - 1 medium Tomato finely chopped
 - 1 teaspoon Oil
 - 1/2 teaspoon Cumin seeds
 - 2 Green chillies finely chopped
 - 1/2 teaspoon Red chilli powder
 - 1 1/2 teaspoons Chaat masala
 - to taste Salt
 - 3 teaspoons Tamarind paste
 - Juice of ½ lemon
 - For garnishing
 - Tamarind chutney
 - Potato salli
 
Method
- Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add cumin seeds and sauté till fragrant. Add green chillies and sauté for a minute.
 - Add green peas, mix well and mash with a masher.
 - Add red chilli powder, chaat masala and salt, mix well and sauté for a minute.
 - Switch off the heat and transfer the pea mixture into a bowl. Add onion, tomato, tamarind paste and lemon juice and mix well.
 - Transfer into small serving bowls, garnish with tamarind chutney and potato salli and serve.
